Description
This beautifully structured graphic poster was designed for an exhibition of Henri Cartier-Bresson’s photography at the Städtisches Museum in Leverkusen in 1956. The exhibition showed Cartier-Bresson’s celebrated street photography from 1930 until 1955.
Muller-Blase were a German studio run by Felix Muller and Ernst Blase. From 1952, one of their most important clients was the America Houses, for whom Müller and Blase designed numerous posters and catalogues, including printed materials for the legendary touring exhibition “Industry and craft create new domestic appliances in the USA” [Industrie und Handwerk schaffen neues Hausgerät in USA].
