This original posters features one of David Hockney’s designs for The Rake’s Progress and was created in 1981 for an exhibition of costume drawings and set designs at The Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. Hockney’s 1975 designs for The Rake’s Progress became some of the most important theatre design of the twentieth century. This playful poster gives us a glimpse of the magic the artist created on stage.
