Description
A graphic, colourful event poster for Grenoble, 1967. Roger David’s simple and striking design depicts a hand holding a flower: the city of Grenoble’s emblem that was later adopted as the logo of the 1968 Winter Olympics. David’s design becomes a fascinating document of the pre-history of the Winter Games, and the evolution of its logo.
