Seraillier’s crystal-clear photograph depicts a group of trainee skiers in the magnificent Dauphiné Alps in southeast France, a mountain range that encompasses the Massif du Pelvoux, Belledonne and Grandes Rousses ranges. This poster, with its vast blankets of cool white and blue, interspersed with colourfully dressed skiers, has the dynamic colour palette and striking design of a great mid-century ski poster.
