Description
Eduard Elzingre’s classical poster is a heroic celebration marking the twentieth anniversary of the modern re-establishment of the ancient Olympic Games. Elzingre was a Swiss illustrator who produced a large number of posters, primarily of a historical and equine nature. This poster, with its rich use of colour and classical composition is one of his most memorable.
