Description

The original linocut for the Exposition Vallauris in 1953. Picasso designed one poster each year from 1951 to 1964, for the annual exhibition of ceramics in the southern French town of Vallauris, where the Catalan artist had settled in 1948. Picasso made many of his ceramic artworks near Vallauris, in the local Madoura pottery.
