Description
Roger Broders is one of the best known Art Deco illustrators whose work is characterized by elongated glamorous figures and block colours. Broders was commissioned by the PLM to produce a works that presented a luxurious view of beautiful Calvi in Corsica. A bright orange towel envelops a slim woman in black bathers, against the backdrop of the town and its citadel. The beautiful deep blue water and long, sand beach are in the distance and complete this alluring scene.
