Description
A visually striking, original and iconic 1933 travel poster for Klosters, the idyllic Swiss Alpine resort. This poster, by famous Swiss graphic artist Alex Walter Diggelmann, employs beautiful curved lines and a strong use of colour to capture the glamour of Klosters in the 1930s. In excellent condition and backed on Japanese tissue paper, ‘Klosters’ is as colourful and vibrant as its creator: Diggelmann was not only one of Switzerland’s most loved designers but a former orienteerist, balloonist and cross-bowman.
