Description
During the cold war, MoMA sought to redefine and promote American art abroad by sending exhibitions of post-war art to Europe. This poster, featuring Salt Shaker by Modernist painter Stuart Davis, is the original design for an exhibition of Fifty Years of American Art at Musee National d’Art Moderne, Paris.
