Description
Air France commissioned French artist Bernard Villemot to design this poster to promote tourism to Paris in 1967. Villemot gives us a view of the city’s landmarks as if approached by aeroplane, highlighting the Eiffel Tower against the River Seine.
A pupil of Paul Colin, renowned French graphic artist Bernard Villemot began his famous series of travel posters for Air France in the late 1940s and went on to design advertising campaigns for some of the biggest brands of the time including Orangina, Bally and Perrier.
